Lithium-ion Polymer technology provides state-of-the-art DC energy storage and has been widely adopted to meet user demand for more power and longer operating times. The risk of battery swelling, while low, is inherent with Lithium-ion Polymer cell technology. A swollen battery may impact the performance of the device and in some cases damage the product enclosure.
