During the early 90s, Datalogic’s unstoppable growth demanded increased production capacity, leading to the foundation of a new factory: DATASUD, located in Castiglione Messer Raimondo (Teramo). This state-of-the-art production center was and is the group’s reference production and assembly plant for barcode readers and safety laser scanners (SLS) for applications in T&L, Intralogistics and Manufacturing markets. The plant remains to this day, a fundamental reference for the manufacturing footprint of the entire Datalogic Group.
